Willard Library - Evansville, IN
Located in Evansville, Willard Library is one of Indiana's most famous areas of
speculated paranormal activity.  Most people looking for paranormal sites have
probably ventured across
libraryghost.com , the website with the live "ghost cams"
being broadcast from inside.  The library's website contains so much background
on the building, we wont even begin to try to fit it all in, and can be found at :
www.willard.lib.in.us.
PROOF was  lucky enough to be able to conduct an investigation inside of the
Willard Library.  We were extremely impressed with the building upon arrival.  From
the outside, it is quite a sight, but the inside of it put us in awe.  The woodwork
alone throughout the building was enough to do it.  If you ever have a chance to
visit you shouldn't hesitate.
We arrived and set up all of our equipment as usual.  A video camera was placed
in the infamous Children's Room of the library and had no evidence upon later
review.  Multiple EMF sweeps were done of the building, as well as temperature
checks, revealing nothing out of the ordinary.  EVPs were done throughout the
entire place, from top to bottom, also coming out negative.  Members watched the
library's ghostcam throughout the investigation, with no interesting sightings. The
only strange experience was a member reporting hearing someone in the
Children's Room shuffling around.  Upon entering the room, no one was there, and
there was no other exit.  Was the grey lady of Willard Library doing some tidying
up before her unexpected visitors from PROOF arrived?  We do highly appreciate
her hospitality, as well as all of the Willard's staff being so highly helpful to us!
