There are 3 spirits that live in our house with us that I know of. One is my
Grandfather who was killed in a hunting accident 4 ½ years before I was born.
He has been with me all my life. Another is a small boy who I believe is around
4 or 5 years old and an older gentleman who mostly likes to stay on our front
porch or in that area.
As a small child I would see a man in my bedroom at night. When I would tell
my parents about it they of course thought I was dreaming. When I was about
10 or so we were looking at some old family pictures and came across one of
my Grandfather. I told my parents that this was the man who was in my room
at night. It was at that time that I was told the story of him and the fact that his
funeral was held in what later became my bedroom in that house. I never felt
any kind of fear only comfort when I saw him.
The small boy likes to play with things and quite often hides items through out
the house. We eventually find them but in places that there is no way they
could have got there without help. I have found jewelry on the foundation ledge
of the house, and under rolls of carpet that was standing up. I have found
pieces of dry dog food in luggage and drawers and all sorts of places. This
was not a mouse issue because there was none of the little tell-tale calling
cards that mice always leave behind.
There was one time when some one shook me out of a deep sleep. I got up
and checked my Husband to see if he needed anything and he was sound
asleep. I walked all through the house and even out to the barns to make sure
everything was ok. I felt like if they wanted me awake that bad there must have
been a reason, but I never found it.
The old gentleman has never done anything he is just there. I sense him.
These spirits are like old friends and I would sorely miss them if they were to
leave.
There are also spirits outside on our property and as long as they come in
love and goodness I welcome them.
