| A Lil' friendly help from beyond the grave- My half sister and I were on our way to the movies one day, when we made a quick stop by the cemetery so I could see her recently deceased Grandfather's grave. I can't recall if we had planned on this, or if it was a spur of the moment thing. Either way, we had time enough to spare and it was a "kill two birds with one stone" type of situation. This was due to the fact that the graveyard was only a few minutes down the road from the theatre. So we made our way past the front gate and proceeded towards the general area of his grave. Thinking she was in the correct area, my sister parked the car and we started our walk. Her Grandfather's stone was a little ways inward and this is a big cemetery!! So after a good bit of walking I asked if we were close, at which point my sister admitted that she thought we should have found it already. At this point it was apparent to me that she did not have quite the bearing on where the stone was as she thought she did. We looked around for awhile, going around in circles, and were just about at the point of giving up and coming back after the movie, or risk being late. That is when I heard the sound of a man clearing his throat. I turned around to see who was there and was astonished to be staring dead at his grave!!! Even crazier yet was the fact that no one else was around and there was absolutely nowhere where anybody could be hiding. I thought it best to keep this to myself for the time being. My sister turned around at the same time as I did, but I thought she might have simply turned only because I had. Only later after the movie did I get the guts to mention what I had heard. When I told her of hearing the man she exclaimed, "Ohh my god you heard that too? I thought I was going crazy." All I gotta say is thanks to whoever that was for helping us out, we made it to the movie on time!!! John, PROOF |
