| Greetings Justin, Thank you for your recent visit to the Kodak Web site and question about a moving object in your picture. The flare of light streaks that is showing on the LCD when bright, specular light sources are visible in the image is due to the LCD not being able to handle that much light coming in from a point source of light. The camera isn't rendered unusable and is not a design defect or flaw. This typically does not manifest itself in the image and is widespread throughout the digital camera industry. It is not restricted to any brand or brands of cameras. This artifact may not manifest itself at exactly the same conditions in different models or brands of cameras, but all brands of consumer digital cameras will show this artifact if exposed to bright specular light sources in some manner. The phenomenon is inherent to the design and not considered a flaw. We are glad to be of service and are here for you if you need us in the future. Please reply to us "with history" if this e-mail did not resolve your issue. NOTE: This year Kodak proudly celebrates the 30th anniversary of its invention of the first digital camera!
